The data base available with V R TECHNICHE on Indian Roads vector is massive and spans over a decade. We perform network and project level analyses that include a visual condition survey of all paved surfaces to determine the types, extent and severity of observed distress. We analyse the data to determine pavement network needs, project priority, optimum strategies, and rehabilitation/restoration alternatives, as well as to perform cost/benefit analysis.

V R TECHNICHE supplements field sampling and visual condition surveys with State-of-the-Art testing with Advanced Survey Vehicles, Laser Profilometers, non-destructive testing (using Falling Weight Deflectometer), ultrasonic testing, nuclear density testing and ground penetrating radar. We perform subsurface investigations to gather additional information using pavement cores to obtain existing cross-sections, soil test borings to obtain samples of base, sub-base and sub-grade layers, laboratory testing to determine soil characteristics and engineering properties, and dynamic deflection testing to provide a quantitative measure of the structural capacity.

Safe and effective design and management of pavement is imperative for the daily use of roads and pavements within communities. Through our advanced pavement engineering techniques, our pavement consultants deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions including pavement design and management.

We offer plant inspection, testing of stockpiled material prior to the start of production.
